Here’s our plan
- We’ll apply a topical numbing cream to ensure you’re comfortable for your treatment.
- (This part sounds worse than it feels, we promise!) Fine needles puncture the skin, creating channels to stimulate new skin cells.
- We provide a Skin Pharm post-procedure kit for you to use 1-3 days after your treatment while healing.
- Want to add PRP to your treatment? Check out more info on this treatment here
The magic of Microneedling + PRP
Tired of dealing with dull skin?
Microneedling is one of our favorite treatments to rejuvenate the face and stimulate collagen for glowing healthy skin. When paired with PRP, you’ll see even more benefits!
Liquid Gold and more +
The golden-tinged liquid got its name not only for its hue, but because of its natural healing abilities. PRP contains a high concentration of platelets, stem cells and growth factors to help your tissue heal and grow new cells.
Microneedling is one of our favorite treatments to smooth and rejuvenate the skin. When paired with PRP, you’ll see even more benefits!
What can I expect during treatment?
It’s easy to fit microneedling into your schedule, as it usually only takes up to an hour to complete. Your Neat provider will cleanse and numb your face, prepping you for treatment. Next, your provider will apply a serum packed with hydrating ingredients and antioxidants and begin using the skin needling device to mechanically exfoliate your skin. (Note: since all Neat providers are medical professionals, they can go deeper than non-medical providers, which means you’ll see noticeable results!)
Your skin will turn red and may even have pin point bleeding a little, but the numbing cream ensures you experience minimal discomfort.
How often do results last?
Ideally you will want to schedule your treatments every 4-6 weeks if there are skin concerns, otherwise maintanence can be every 4-6 months to maintain your smooth wrinkle free look!
I have a big event coming up. When should I book my appointment?
Treatment requires minimal downtime. The next morning, your skin may feel a little tight, but you’ll notice that redness has faded from the previous day. (The micro-wounds heal quickly!) You may experience dryness, scaling, redness and swelling, but this is totally normal up to 48 hours after the treatment. Use the gentle cleanser and Intense Plated serum from the post-procedure instructions and apply SPF. It’s okay to apply makeup 24 hours after the treatment, too.
Are there any other side effects I should know about?
The most common early reactions/side effects of injectable soft tissue fillers include bruising, edema and erythema. The application of ice after injection may help to reduce swelling, and preoperative precautions regarding anticoagulating agents may help to reduce the severity of bruising.
